Link a User ID to your MYOB account

I changed my email address on Essentials and yesterday contaced MYOB to change it on my.MYOB.

Now, I can log into my Essentials account but when I get in its asking me to

Link a User ID to your MYOB account

I have tried every possible user id and password to no avail.  It is pre-filled with 'Administrator' and my password, but nothing is working.  I have tried lots of other possible combinations as well

I waited for half an hour to speak to someone who had no clue what I was talking about, who then transferred me to another dept. I waited another 20 mins, being told I was next in the queue, then got cut off!!

I have wasted most of my morning on this now.

Sorry to hear about this. Are you able to try Administrator and leave the password blank ? If this doesn't work,  I'd be happy to take a look into this for you. Can you please send me a private message with the following information:

  • Serial number 
  • Full name and confirmation of the updated email address

Thanks for your post. Are you able to try Administrator and leave the password blank, does this work ?

Thanks @Melisa_D yes ive tried it tells me that my user id or password is incorrect but i didnt change it. I just changed my email address. I have always just left the administrator password blank. THANKS!

Hello @Melisa_D , I am having the same issue - It is requiring me to link a User ID and I tried my login and I also tried the Administrator as User ID and left the password blank but both are not working. I have refreshed the page multiple times but it always go back to the link User ID page.

Me too, I am still waiting - I actually left MYOB because of that issue and the non- response from MYOB.

I am trying to close my account today and have been transferred once already and now waiting for 1 hour 28 minutes as we speak.
