MYOB ESSENTIALS - POOR OVERALL PERFORMANCE - Pages not loading

Is anyone else having major issues with MYOB Essentials connected ledger lately? (Past week or more) 

 

EXTREMELY slow to load a page. When trying to open client files I am just receiving a grey blank page for several minutes, or it simply will not load at all and I have to "try again later" in the day and cross my fingers it works so that I can actually do some work.

 

Also having issues with allocating transactions – EXTREMELY slow to allocate. Just overall very poor performance and EXTREMELY frustrating.  

 

Have tried using chrome and firefox , cleared my browser/cache etc - same issue. Have asked MYOB support for explanation/help but have not received a response on why its happening, how to resolve and why I cannot use the product I am paying for !?

Hi @Caseyw 

 

We are aware of performance and time-out errors occurring with the AccountRight product range since the AccountRight 2021.6 release. However, a number of users have tried the backup and restore online process to restore that file over the top which has resolved some.

 

To my knowledge, we are not aware of any performance situations with MYOB Essentials at this time. I would recommend seeing if the same thing is occurring across multiple connections and multiple businesses (if available).

This is happening with multiple users/log in's in our office as well as multiple businesses. 

The performance is shocking in each business i try to work on.

MYOB not aware of performance issues with MYOB Essentials or time-out errors at this time? You have to be kidding me. There have been a number of posts regarding this issue including one I posted a number of days ago. And of course no response.

Absolutely terrible. I spend more time watching the loading spinning wheel than I do completing work !

As indicated, we are not aware of any specific cases of performance issues with MYOB Essentials (at the time of posting). 


In saying that, would you mind indicating if you are referring to using the Original MYOB Essentials platform or the Newer MYOB Essentials platform.

Newer MYOB Essentials platform's Dashboard looks similar to the following:

Issues are occurring on the new dashboard. It is intermittent – sometimes it is okay. Then all of a sudden it becomes non responsive and VERY laggy and slow.

How could you NOT be aware that there is a problem with Essentials? This is actually the HEADING of what that person wrote to you? Or do you mean MYOB dont' acknowledge the slow disfunctional software it has become?

Its the new version that we were forced on to is the one we are complaining about. I think you call it MYOB business now.

Many of us were happy with Essentials. Simple and productive.
