Profit and Loss Report

We have the new version of MYOB Essentials (with Payroll). commenced on July 1st this year.

I have just tried to run a profit and loss report for year to date and it is so wrong.

The report shows our Gross Profit as more than our income.. The report is adding the cost of sales rather than deducting them...

Seem to have so many issues with this new version...

Can someone please advise..this really needs tro be rectified as a matter of urgency

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your Profit and Loss report. We are aware of an issue in the upgraded version of Essentials where some customers are presented with the incorrect values when running the Profit & Loss report. 

We’re looking into the cause right now and we realise how important it is to resolve it as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience.

I just received an update that this issue has been resolved in the software. Let me know if you still encounter problems when running your Profit & Loss report.
