Amend reconciled journal entry

Hi,

I've discovered an issue with a journal entry (receive money) that occurred in Account Right in September 2017. I moved across to Essentials in December 2017. The September transactions were reconciled in Account Right and therefore I can't see a way to "unreconcile" the September month. I can only "unreconcile" the months that I've reconciled on Essentials (being October 2017 onwards).

Is there a way for me to amend this transaction from September 2017?

Or how I go about allocating those funds from September to outstanding invoices (which is what should have happened originally). My September transaction where I received money has incorrectly allocated all funds to an income account instead of partly to an income account and partly to invoices.

Hope someone can help me Smiley Happy

Viv

Re: Amend reconciled journal entry

Hi @Viv_CDRC

If all the invoices were allocated to Income as well, the simplest way would be to issue Credit Notes for these invoices, also allocating them to the same income account. Sales>>Create Customer Return  then Process Customer Return by applying them to the outstanding invoices
