We have had a small update on this and to keep you in the loop:
The devs believe they may have identified the problem and are exploring potential solutions to it with the least amount of downtime. I have also made a post detailing this issue here: Aw Snap error or Tab Crashing while using Essentials

happens here as well - happens when I am entering invoices - sometimes 1 line, I save after every 5 now just in case.
Happens on the work computer, on the home computer and on my ipad.
Happens when the myob page is sitting open on the dashboard.
happens when I enter in bills.
Happys when I do payroll.
Happens when I am doing the accounts.
There is no part of the site where I have not had this error. by 10am this morning it had happened 6 times.
It is a chrome issue with myob - my chrome is fully updated but it still happens, myob needs to fix something in the site on their end. Other browsers dont have the same functionality I need so its really annoying.
Thanks for letting us know you are experiencing this error, and I do apologise for the inconvenience this is causing you. This is something that our team are aware of and currently investigating to find a permanent solution to.
All updates to this issue will be posted on our thread, Aw Snap error or Tab Crashing while using Essentials. Currently some users have reported using a different browser has assisted them, however this may not be a viable option for all situations
I though it was me, I rang MYOB to ask about it and they told me that it must be my computer. Have been nagging boss to get a new lap top and now I find out that it was them all along. Not happy Jan.
Sorry to hear of your experience. The underlying cause of this issue has been addressed by our team, and shouldn’t be impacting you any further. That said if you were still experiencing the error I recommend clearing the cache on your internet browser
