Bank Feed error

Hi,

 

The bank feed worked fine for essential but suddnely it would not update the bankfeed. I then deleted the bank feed.

 

Now I receive the below message when trying to add a bank feed.

 

Manage bank feeds
Add bank feed
Set up bank feed

Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a few minutes. If it keeps happening, get in touch with our support team on 1300 555 123.

Thank you for the post!

 

Did you mean cancelling the bank feeds? or deleted a transaction. Bank feed transactions cannot be deleted, however, they can be hidden from the window.Could you provide more details on this issue. Please,provide steps to get to that error.A screenshot of the error message would be helpful.

Hi, I added a bankfeed from my bank successfully 4 weeks ago. It worked fine for a few weeks then it would not update the feed.

 

I cancelled the bank feed.

 

Now I cannot set-up the bank feed anymore. I click on add bank feed but still an error.

Hi @vegemite 

 

I've made a slight change to your account setup. Can you try that bank feed set up process again and let us know how you get on?

 

If you are still encountering that situation do ensure that you are the Administrator user of that MYOB Essentials business - Business Name Menu (top right)>>Users.  If you are the Administrator, can you clarify when you get the message i.e. when you select Add bank feed OR you enter the banking account information then you get that message?

Hi Steve, I appreciate your assistance.

I am the administrator (I checked the privilege).

I click on the add bank feed and then I receive the error.

I don't mind entering all the data again because the errors take up too much time .

ANother question, would it affect any tax paid for aug and sep?

 

I use the payroll option to report to the ATO

Hi @vegemite 

 

So we can investigate further can you send me a private message on this Forum with the serial number of that MYOB Essentials business (Bottom of the Business Name menu) and the email address you are using to log in with.

 

In terms of your question relating to the PAYG/payroll payments, bank feeds are just transactions from the listed bank account. So provided you have the processed the transaction and it has been recorded at the bank's end then you are good to go on that front.

As discussed in our private messages, we have reviewed your account in-depth and identified a situation that prevented those bank feeds from being applied for. We did remedy that situation for you and you should now be able to apply for those feeds as per MYOB Essentials Help Article: Setting up bank feeds
