Double-counting Pays

Hello. I have recently started using MYOB Essentials, after many years of AccountRight Plus. When I ran a P&L report, I found all of my Wages & Salaries were counted twice, both under the individual payment to each employee, and again the total amount for that pay run. I pay electronically, creating an ABA file that I upload to the bank, and at this stage I am downloading transactions from the bank as a QIF file, & then allocating them. Can anyone say what I am doing wrong, & what should I do to correct it.

I hope that makes sense, & thanks for any help.

Bill

Hi @Bill_H2

So that I can help you better can you please send me a screenshot of your Profit & Loss by private message

Can you also run your Payroll Summary report for the same period and check if it balances with Wages & Salaries on the P&L.

Cheers,
Tracey
