Firefox - Issue assigning bank transaction to an account

When trying to allocate a bank transaction from the bank link to a specific account, it just hangs and the spinning thing keeps spinning.  It never actually allocates.   If there's a "match"  it always allocates fine.

When using chrome, there's no issue at all.

I'm only using Firefox as you still have that darn issue on Chrome where it keeps logging me out.

Not gonna lie, can't wait till we change to Xero.  Myob is getting worse.

Re: Firefox - Issue assigning bank transaction to an account

Hi @LiamB

We're sorry for the frustrations caused by the logout issue and we are working on a permanent fix for this.

Regarding the issue of the spinning circle while allocating a transaction, it happens when the reference number of transaction is stuck in the background and can be resolved by following the steps given below:

1. Manually create a receive money or spend money transaction, for the date and amount against the account you wanted the allocation.

Note:
Withdrawl ($) = Spend Money
Deposit ($) = Receive Money

2. Change the reference number of the transaction to be the next higher in the sequence. eg, if the Receive Money transaction number says RM000001, change this to RM000002.

3. Now match the bank feed to this manually created transaction.

This should have now reset the corrupt reference number sequence.

4. Continue to allocate the rest of your bank transactions as normal as that should work without any issues.

Let us know if you have further questions on this.

Kind regards,
Komal
