Hi,
Ive just had a phone call with my accountant who has run into some issues when trying to lodge our BAS.
The error showed up when he was questioning our Wages figure in the trial balance to which I replied that we did not pay any wages for that period.
Upon comparing between the GL report and the trial balance for the same period, the Trial Balance is showing a DR figure whereas the GL report does not show any transactions (which is correct as we did not have any entries for this period).
How can there be a movement in the trial balance when there are no transactions recorded?

Hi @AlishaF
Thanks for providing that screenshot. The Trial Balance that you are running is for the FY ending 2020, which is September 2019. For the September 2020 Trial Balance you will need to select the Financial Year Ending: 2021
