How do you link your bank account to your MYOB Essentials

I have just started my business and setting up MYOB essentials, I have entered my employees details and their bank account details, but how do I add my bank account details so the money can be taken from my bank account into her bank account?

Hi @melaniepope 

 

You can add a bank account details for the bank account you are paying your employees from using the following steps:

  1. Clicking on Accounting before choosing Chart of accounts
  2. Navigate to the account that you wish to pay the employee's from
  3. Add in the banking information
  4. You also do want to select I Create ABA files for this account and enter in the bank code and Direct User ID (both pieces of information come from the Bank, not MYOB).
