Importing item file into MYOB Essentials Accounting + Payroll

I downloaded a sample file into my Mac from http://help.myob.com/wiki/x/PoIR . It works.

Following the instruction, nothing change, just save it as.txt file as attached. After importing, it shows "There are no items.".  Your help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Importing item file into MYOB Essentials Accounting + Payroll

Hello @AGB_books

Thanks for your post.

It may be that the saved file had been altered or reformatted some of the information.  Are you able to see if this test file below (ITEM.txt) can sucessfully import please?

If you would like to compare, open side by side to the other file (ITEM (Original)) which is the file you had linked to see what I mean by formatting/display differences.

Do let us know how you go with it, and if this has helped in any way, kindly consider marking this post as a solution.

Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew. Just find it works to save as Windows Formatted Text, rather than Tab Delimited Text. All good now. Thanks.
