Invoice payment terms defaulting to 14 days

Hi,

 

I've noticed lately for the past couple of weeks that payment terms on my first invoice created each day defaults to 14 days after the issue date, when my default is actually set to 0 days after in business settings.

 

The next invoice I create for the day uses the default terms of 0 days correctly.

 

Why would this be happening?

I investigated a bit more and discovered that it seems to follow some customers, but there is no option to define payment terms per customer that I can see.

 

Changing the customer changes the terms on the invoice, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the first invoice of the day, but I can't seem to locate an option to change terms per customer.

 

Is there an option for individual customer terms now? I'm on Essentials Accounting so I didn't think there was...

Thanks for your post.

 

The invoice terms changing when selecting a customer, is something we are aware of. When customer cards are created in New Essentials, the terms are saved against the new card using the current default Sales terms. If the default sales terms are then changed, this does not update the terms saved against each card. These fields are not currently exposed in the browser interface, so you cannot see or edit these.

 

For now, the way to work around this is to manually change the due date of the invoice after selecting the customer.
