Invoices with dates on line items

Hi,

 

I'm fairly new to the software.

I have a couple of companies I subcontract for and one requires me to submit a fortnightly invoice where each invoice line contains the date and site name where I worked, as well as the hours and rate:

 

date / site name / hours / rate / total

 

subtotal

gst

total

etc.

 

Is this possible to create this kind of template in MYOB?

I can possibly set up an item for each site, but is it possible to put a date on each line?

Thank you for your post. 

 

MYOB Essentials doesn't allow for the user to enter a date / site name / hours to an invoice line directly, only an allocation to account and/or an item with a description to be selected/entered depending on your invoice setup. If that is required I would recommend adding that information to the description section similar to:

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

 

I did consider this option. I suppose I can also add all the detail into the description including the rate and hours worked, like: "28/11/2020 - Site 1. 4 hours @$25.00."

 

It is a bit clunky, but it may be ok.

While my recommendation will give you the result you desire, if you would like to see the function to include site locations and hours added to the invoice in a future release, you can add it as a suggestion for our product developers to review on the Essentials Idea Exchange.
