JobKeeper Finish

Well after waiting 54 minutes on hold, I get someone who can't help and has transferred me to Payroll and yes still on hold.  MYOB your wait times are extremely lengthy and yes I understand it is new financial/payroll year but you know this happens every year so please staff better as time spend holding is costly to businesses.

We sold our business.  Final trading day 30th June 2020.

I did the final pays on 30th June.

I realised I did not indicate JobKeeper Finish.

Do I just do a dummy payslip dated 30th June for each of the 3 employees with JOBKEEPER-FINISH-FN07 (as they were paid for the fortnight 7 commencing 22nd June) or do I need to delete and redo the original payslips to include the JOBKEEPER-FINISH-FN07.

Thank you Smiley Happy

Re: JobKeeper Finish

Hi @Safety2

Thank you for your post. Sorry that you haven't had a response so far.

From an MYOB Essentials product point of view, the system will allow the user to process an additional payroll transaction for employees on the same date as another pay already in the system. This does mean that if you have incorrectly processed a pay i.e. missed paying a value, a user can process an additional pay to include that additional amounts.

The alternative is to delete the original pay and then reprocess correctly.

Kind regards,
Steven
