MYOB Crashing

MYOB is crashing with no warning while in the middle of invoicing, losing all the information. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @LeighNutri 

 

If you were experiencing crashes within MYOB Essentials, I would start by switching off the modem for at least 30 seconds to let the internal cache clear within the modem.  In addition its also worth clearing the cache and cookies on the internet browser you are using or trying a different browser

I am having the same issues, lost count how many times, it has crashed this morning and over the last week or so. I have redue invoicing etc.  This need urgent attention. We are paying a subscription for a system that has had to many issues in the past weeks.

HI @LeighNutri 

 

As this is on the MYOB Essentials board, I had assumed you were using MYOB Essentials.

 

If AccountRight is crashing, are any errors being displayed on screen at any point? If so what is the exact wording of that error message? In contrast if there were no errors being displayed that can often indicate a system level issue as something is causing the program to crash in the background.

 

I would start by closing down as many other programs as possible to free up as many other system resources, as well as ensuring that programs like the antivirus are not actively scanning your computer to free up additional resources

As mentioned previously in this MYOB Essentials thread, if you are experiencing issues I would start by switching off the modem and clearing the cache on the internet browser.
