So there are many post about being logged out of MYOB esentials after a short being of time, around 20 minutes for most, and it has been an ongoing issue for some time.
It seems to be blamed by an update to Chrome, although other users say it is also happening on other browsers like Safari.
There is a very bad work around being repeated by MYOB Moderators that involves reducing cookie security, which is not a good idea.
We all pay a for this online service every month and we would expect it to be updated to work on the browser it was designed for. It is MYOB's responsiblity to have this fixed in a reasonable amount of time to make it to continue to work on these browsers.
You can't avoid this issue for another 6 months until your new platform is available to everyone.
MYOB get your software engineers to fix this issue ASAP!

We are aware that some clients do experience MYOB Essentials automatically logging them out. This is something that we are currently tracking and I have added your feedback to that.
In the meantime, we do recommend taking a look at MYOB Essentials Automatic log out after a period of time for more information and potential ways to help mitigate that situation occurring.
I totally concur with this sentiment.
I followed the advice from your "solution"
We recommend consulting with an IT specialist to understand the implications of updating these flags.
and our IT consultants advised not to update the flags as it's a potential security risk.
Hopefully a more viable solution can be found.
HI, I also am adding to this conversation as the log out issue is becoming quite tiresome. The suggested idea of reducing security settings is not acceptable for us. We are keen to know that a solution is being worked on and can be implemented in a timely manner. Looking forward to a reply.
My MYOB essentials is doing the same just

I agree with all the other posts - this has been a recurring issue for awhile now. Its really wasting our time and frustrating! Please fix this MYOB - tried Chrome & Safari and followed the tips but its still happening.
Totally frustrating!! Was advised by phone support to use Chrome (was using Safari no problems for years), downloaded and still logging out in the middle of entering data! Why are we paying for this program, when it is not operating correctly! Come on MYOB techs, get this fixed!
