Normal Pay entered instead of Annual Leave

Hi

 

I made an error with my pay run and entered 22.5 hours as `Normal Pay' instead of in the `Annual Leave' box.  I entered the Leave Loading correctly.  Because of my error, my employee did not get the 22.5 hours taken off his Annual Leave balance.  How do I correct my error so that my employee's Annual Leave hours are correct?  Do I just delete my payroll run and re-do it?

Hi @MJ7

 

In your case, you could delete & re-do the pay. Just making sure the hours and payments go against AL to decrease it.

 

You can do this by following this support note: Changing or deleting a pay

 

(Note that you would want to make sure the re-made Pay Run is the same Take Home amount for reconciliation purposes)
