I've set up MYOB Essentials Payroll as I had in my old Account Right Plus.
But when I run the payroll the amounts don't match.
How is the best way to set up the pay details?
I've attached the screenshots of Essentials and Account Right:

Hi @Bernardo
Please allow me to extend you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.
Based on $69,992 being the annual salary amount, the weekly payment amount would be $1346 instead of $1498.
In AccountRight the Pay Basis for this employee is set up as 'Salary', so the weekly payment amount shall be the Annual Salary / 52 weeks. Could you please advise what is the Annual Salary amount entered in this employee card, just above the Hourly Rate field?
In AccountRight please also to go Payroll Details > Standard Pay in employee card, and check what is the amount entered against Base Salary. This amount can be manually edited, which will overwrite the system calculated amount in payslips. You can reset this field by removing the amount first, then go back to Payroll Details > Wages then retype the Annual Salary.
Please do let us know how you go.
Cheers,
Clover

Thank you for the additional information @Bernardo
The screenshot shows the salary settings in AccountRight is exactly the same as the one in Essentials. So when processing payroll, it will automatically populate the same Base Salary amount ($1346) in both programs. The reason Base Salary was showing $1498 in a previous AccountRight payslip would be either the settings were different in employee card at the time, or someone over typed the figure when processing payroll.
In both AccountRight and Essentials, the Net Pay/Take Home amounts are system calculated amount, and cannot be manually overwritten. You can however overwrite the Base Salary figure manually in both software, to achieve a different Net Pay.
You mentioned that the employee had a pay raise before, so should the current gross payment be $1498 per week? If so please work out what the new annual salary amount should be, then update the figure in employee contact in Essentials, to avoid any manual editing.
Please feel free to let us know how you go.
Cheers,
Clover

You are most welcome @Bernardo
Great to hear the amounts in pay runs are calculating correctly now after you've updated the annual salary in employee contact. Glad I could be of your assistance.
If you need a hand again please do not hesitate to post on the forum at any time.
