Payroll YTD Gross does not match with General Ledger expense account

I have a transaction where the gross wage was equal to the tax deducted. The employee received no pay. This figure appears in the payroll reports gross and payg withheld but does not appear in the wages expense account.

The Payg liability account is out as well.

How do I fix this?

Re: Payroll YTD Gross does not match with General Ledger expense account

Hi @KarenThompson

If you are 100% certain the Payroll Reports are correct and it has not posted to the GL, the simplest way would be to record a General Journal, found under settings by clicking business name, and then bottom of right list. Debit the Wages Account  and Credit the Payroll Liability Account. Is there ant Super that hasn't been recorded.
