Payroll transactions not appearing as matches

I'm trying to enter 3 payruns in December.  They appear in bank transactions and bank history as Allocate Me.  When I click in and try to match it says There are no Records.  I have put the payrolls in, taken them out and put them back in again, saving as I go.  When I look at the reconciliation they show up as autoreconciled and I cannot unreconcile them by clicking on the green tick.  I have not had this problem with pay runs through Sep to Nov but I am giving up these books wef end Dec and the new bookkeeper has run weekly payruns from then so I'm wondering if that has any bearing on my problem.  Can anybody help please.
