Problems with manually importing NAB statement

I seem to be having an issue manually importing a NAB transaction statement.

I've never had this problem before.

The statement is in the approptiate QIF format.

After I get to the stage where I've chosen the file to import, I click on Import Now, and then nothing further happens.

I was wondering if anyone else has come across this recently, and found a solution.

Cheers

Re: Problems with manually importing a NAB statement

I'm still not having any luck with this.

I've tried on mutliple occasions over the last 2 days.

I've exported the transaction file from NAB internet banking in the appropriate QIF format.

When I try to import it into MYOB, I can get to the stage where I choose the file to import, select the date format, and then click on import now.

The import does not go through,  and the circle with the diagonal line though it comes up when I hover over import now. I can click on cancel to abort this.

I've been manually importing a monthly NAB statement for the last 18 months without any issues, so I'm not sure if this is a new problem with the statements that are generated from NAB internet banking, or a glitch/bug in MYOB.

Re: Problems with manually importing a NAB statement

Hi @DrSR

Thanks for your post. I hope you're finding plenty of useful tips, advice and support on the community forum.

That does sound odd that this is happening, there are no known issues with this. Since you're on Essentials, have you tried using a different browser? Alternatively you could clear your browser cache and see if that helps.  I'll link Import bank statements for reference and tips with completing this.

Give this a go and let me know if the issue persists.  If this answers your inquiry please mark 'Accept as Solution' to help other users find this post.

Cheers,
Theresa

Re: Problems with manually importing a NAB statement

Hello Theresa

Thank you for your assistance

Clearing the browser cache didnt seem to fix the problem.

I then tried using Firefox as a browser, and I was able to import the bank transactions successfully.

Thanks

Re: Problems with manually importing a NAB statement

Thank you DrSR for your help.  I tried using Safari with no success. When I read your post, I downloaded Firefox which helped me to import my .QIF files in to MYOB.

Have a great day. Smiley Happy
