QIF, OFX, SGML or XML file

Hi All,

How do I convert my bank statements into a QIF, OFX, SGML or XML file? I'm using a Mac Book. What file converter should I use.

Thanks

Evansd

Re: QIF, OFX, SGML or XML file

Hello @Evansd

When downloading your bank statements for use in Essentials, they do need to be in the .QIF format (and if you have a choice of date formats, choose dd/mm/yy). Most banks allow you to download bank statements in the .QIF file format–you shouldn't need to convert them from other formats, such as PDF. Refer to the help in your internet banking site to learn how to download or export your bank statements, or check with your bank.

Kind regards,
Emily
