Report exports create 'VerificationProxy' file

Hi

Certain reports export fine, example is the GST report which exports a pdf.

Various other reports, like Accounts list and contacts export a file that is called VerificationProxy and contains what looks like gibberish.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks!

Bart

Re: Report exports create 'VerificationProxy' file

Hi @Barto

I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

When you go to Reports->All Reports->Accounts, and click on the green “Generate Report” button, what comes up? It should create a new tab with a link to the report in pdf format. The link will look something like this (the full link has been truncated for clarity).

https://essentials.myob.com.au/LA/VerificationProxy?request=/PDFout&reportName=XSL_RPT_.......

You can see that it makes a call to a VerificationProxy which is really just something that verifies that the link request is correct. Can I ask if you are using Google Chrome? If not please switch to that, and please allow popups in google. So can you tell me what happens when you click the green “generate report” button in Chrome?

Kind Regards,

Re: Report exports create 'VerificationProxy' file

Hi Stuart

Yes it was a browser issue - works as expected in Chrome but not in FireFox.  Will use Chrome for MYOB going forward.

Thanks!
