System crashes

Back in March we experienced constant system shut downs while entering invoices and quotes. This was resolved by turning off 'Same Site' cookie options in Chrome flags.

 

We have just started experiencing the same issue while entering invoices and quotes.

 

As with the earlier problem, this is extremely frustrating and time consuming as we enter long invoice/quote dialogues and a crash half way through means starting again.

 

The 'same site' options remain disabled in our system. Can anyone suggest a fix or does someone have knowledge of a recurrence of the problem and a solution?

Hi @Brattman 

 

Thank you for your post and sorry to hear this is occurring?

 

Have you tried using a different browser? You might need to disable the samesite cookies for that browser, however as a test it would be interesting to see if you experience the same behaviour using say Firefox.

Hi Jesh,

 

We have Microsoft Edge also installed and would prefer not to run lots of browsers.

 

Happy to give it a try with Edge, your thoughts?

Hi @Brattman 

 

I've seen similar circumstances with other users, whereby they've switched to using Edge and it has allowed them to proceed as per normal without further crashes. However, much like using Chrome or say Firefox, you'd need to disable the same site cookies for Edge also until we have a permeant fix available.
