missing "looks good" button in payroll

missing "looks good" button in payroll

I can process the pay run & review the payslips but when I click on the button to "Finish Pay Run" the pay run takes me to the Pay Run summary but doesn't finalise it. When I go back into "Enter Pay" it's sitting there and the finish pay run isnt ticked. The "Looks Good" Button is not visable.

Hi @EANews

 

Just testing in my MYOB Essentials it does appear to be working as intended for myself and have that "Looks good" button to complete the payroll.

 

First thing I would attempt to do would be to try a different browser - we recommend Google Chrome and/or clearing your browser's cache file - refreshyourcache.com would be able to assist with that.

 

If you are still unable to process that payroll we would love to see a screenshot of the Pay run Summary screen (you can exclude/remove the employee's name for the screenshot if required) so we can investigate further

Hi Steven.  Thank you for your reply.  I have clearedmy browser cache, restarted my computer.  This has not worked.  Please see screenshot as reqeusted.

Hi @EANews,

 

Thanks for the screenshot. It's quite unusual that clearing your browser cache hasn't worked for you, as it typically resolves such issues.

 

While Google Chrome is the browser we recommend for use with MYOB Essentials, are you able to try a different browser (e.g. Firefox) for testing purposes? This is just so we can work out whether or not the issue is with your MYOB Essentials file or whether it's browser-related.

I am also having this same issue - I have cleared the cache several times and tried other browsers, and nothing works.  The Looks Goo button does not appear, and so I cannot finish the pay run.

Hi @mattnz,

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum!

 

If you are using a browser other than Google Chrome, can you please try switching to Google Chrome; otherwise, try moving to a different browser just to change the environment that Essentials is working in.

I have already tried that and it has made no difference.  I have also tried clearing the browser cache, with no joy.

Considering you are using the NZ region of Essentials, are you at all using the Pay Agent services or are you doing your payroll in Essentials manually?
