Search: Account by name (not account number)

Is it possible to change your settings so that you can select accounts on alpha or numeric basis, rather than only by drop down list?  If you post a lot of items to non P&L accounts it's a pain having to scroll down through all the expense accounts then having to click 'more' to get to anything else.

Thank you for your feedback on this, improving the workflow is something that we're always very keen to work on and this would be a great improvement. It would be great to see votes from the rest of the community that would like to see this added in so we can get a feel for the demand on this change.

Accounts can be selected by account number and name within MYOB Essentials.

Note: This change is available for the new MYOB Essentials platform. Existing (original) MYOB Essentials platform users will be migrated across to the new platform in due course based on the complexity of their MYOB Essentials product level. At the time of posting, migrations are already underway.
