Dashboard: Customisable reminder/note

I use many industry specific accounting systems and the best of these include a "Post it notes" type message on the dashboard that can be seen by any user to inform them of a task to be performed or a pending action. This is very helpful as it is in constant view each time the dashboard is present rather than the user having to navigate to a particular notes or comments section on a card, which would require them to have a pre-knowledge of that notice.

As an example, we currently have an casual employee who quit prior to working her final day for which she had already been paid.  It would be beneficial to have a "Post it note" on the dashboard as a reminder to check that the refund arrives.  Some other systems have this feature and it works brilliantly.

Could a To Do List or Reminders List be added to Essentials to prompt posting of Recurring Transactions please?
