We want to move to cloud accounting but need the Sale order feature.

It would be handy if we could make a deduction be a percentage instead of a dollar amount. This would be handy for child support deductions which are a percentage for one of our client's employees, rather than a flat dollar amount.

Having either (or both) offline and backup functionality added to LiveAccounts would be great points of difference for a web-browser based accounting package.
MYOB prides itself with the AccountRight Live software being the only cloud accounting package which can be used offline should the MYOB server go down or the internet connection lost. This needs to be applied to LiveAccounts.
A lot of people won't use online only software because
The LiveAccounts servers have gone down on multiple occasions stopping us from accessing our financial data and we have no idea how long the outage lasts until the solution/(s) have been found.
If a offline or backup functionality was added to LiveAccounts then we'd still be able to access our accounts when we need to. Being locked out of your accounting file for hours is not acceptable.

With previous LiveAccount system when you entered an item and pressed tab or enter it would go to description to allow you to amend any issues with description or fine tune the description for the item and then you could tab across to the units, price etc. now when you enter an item it automatically goes to units and it's very very frustrating when you have a lot of items that you need to fine tune.

There seems to be a lot of wasted space on columns such as item, units, tax type etc. These use up so much space there is little space left to do a detailed quotation. Surely columns that only require a small number of spaces could be reduced to make room for the all important DESCRIPTION.

I would like to see a Session Report and Audit Trail style reports available in LiveAccounts.
The Session Report will allow us bookkeepers / accountants to print off the list of adjustments we did and forward to the client so they can learn the best coding practices.
The Audit Trail report would show which user has done what when - so we can see if/when a transaction has been adjusted and why. This allows the owners to keep track of what their employees have done as well as which transactions have been editied by their bookkeeper or accountant.

The trading name of the business is automatically inserted in the "make cheques payable to:" field. Could we have control over that. I want cheques made out to another account but do not want to alter the trding name position. Generlly I need more control over the invoice template.

When searching for a customer Invoice in "All" invoices open screen which then brings up all Invoices under that customer you then click on a Invoice you want to open. Once opened, you then want to look at another Invoice under the same customer but when u "click back" ALL Invoices are listed again and you need to search for that customer again rather than just leaving the searched customer invoice listing on previous screen. This process or searching has to be completed each time you want to search Invoices from a specific customer rather than leaving customer search on previous screen.

Is it possible to change your settings so that you can select accounts on alpha or numeric basis, rather than only by drop down list? If you post a lot of items to non P&L accounts it's a pain having to scroll down through all the expense accounts then having to click 'more' to get to anything else.

Would it be possible to have a report that gives you total sales for a selected period for all customers (not just by customer?)
At the moment looks like the only way to get it is to print the Sales account of the GL for the period you want and subtract the opening balance. But that's a bit cumbersome, with room for error as I found out the hard way!

Due to the 2 decimal rounding amounts in Live accounts, i am finding it very difficult to post past payroll information. The payroll i have is very specific and i have it calculated on a spreadsheet just to make sure all the amounts are correct. Was using version 19 plus for the payroll, but client has requested onsite bookkeeping which i am doing, but is using apple mac, so Live accounts was the only option as accountant or myself would not be able to access the file using myob account right on the cloud. is there a possiblitily that the gross amount can be overwritten just like in all the other MYOB versions? that would make it perfect.

Hi guys!
Is there a function at present to be able to search for supplier/customer names which covers the whole site? ie: Spend/receive money as well as sales/expenses
The same format as in MYOB desktop versions where we can 'find transaction' via card, account, invoice etc...
We are having trouble finding transactions that have been entered as spend/receive money in the Live Accounts

I think Myob should be able to match uneven amounts that are deposited.
This is particularly troublesome for me as I receive eftpos deposits containing several progress payments across multiple invoices. This makes matching to invoices incredibly difficult and I have to enter customer payments. This makes having bank feeds redundant to a degree.
There already is a column for matching called "amount to apply" but you cannot edit it. It would be ideal if this feature could be added.

I have contacted Tech Support for an easy way to reimburse an employee for an Expense and they have stated there is not.
Currently if you put in in their pay as an allowance or the like it will be taxed and accrue super.
Process - employee submits an expense form, how do people currently pay them back? You really need these line items to be entered into your system to capture them as expenses and to capture the GST paid on the items.

Is there an option to select multiple invoices to be emailed to the one customer from the Sales screen?
The best work around that I have found is to select the individual invoice numbers, press print at the bottom of the screen and then use an Adobe product to email them.
The issue is then that the invoices are not marked as 'Sent' and we have to open each individual invoice and fake a print. This is very time consuming.
Is it not possible to have:
1) a simple function to send multiple invoices to the one customer
2) a check box under the 'Sent' column where we are able to quickly mark this ourselves

Hello,
I print the G/L details report for all unallocated transactions and then download to Excel and send to my clients to provide details of what the unallocated transactions are for.
Could we please have the description that is showing in the BANK TRANSACTIONS screen appear in the G/L details report to make it easier i.e. in the G/L details report it just says 'Cheque' yet in the bank transaction report it says 'Cheque 654'.
I have a lawyer in particular who writes a lot of cheques and i have to manually enter each cheque number into the excel download which is very time consuming.

Could we please have a Session Countdown (similar to websites of banks & super funds) where there is a visible count down of the time remaining on your session before automatic logout occurs. This would improve the workflow of admin/accounting personnel who need to deal with a lot of paperwork inbetween use of the system & they could keep an eye on their session & activate it if it is getting close to the expiry time and not lose any work.

I would like to see MYOB live accounts provide the option for staff schedule (roster) and also staff able to clock in. I'm having trouble managing debtors in Live accounts without using a separate database.
The invoices screen tells me who hasn't paid, but when these age it would be helpful to see who has been contacted and how i.e. re-issued an invoice or sent a statement (how many and when), phoned and notes re same.
How do others keep track of what is happening with overdue accounts using LiveAccounts (considering that the invoices are generated here)?

When adding, searching or editing items, contacts, invoices or going to and from invoices, expenses, bank etc PLEASE PLEASE can we go back to the screen we were just previously on, not back to the start. Wouldn't it be great to be able to select previous page required by back key or drop down.
