As an ex Freshbooks user, I was able to specify the amount of product lines that an invoice was to contain.
My company sells labour and issues invoices that list the staff that worked on a particular job. More often than not I need to add between 60-130 lines. It would be nice to be able to specify the number of lines that the invoice is to contain and which product code should be used. The reason isn't because I'm lazy. The reason for my request is that whilst it does make it easier it also serves as a way to double check to ensure that I have not missed anyone or any product that I had intended to be on the invoice. i.e If I have to invoice for 55 staff, I could specify 55 rows with product code ABC and then it's just a matter of filling in the details. Once at the end of the invoice there should not be any lines left over or I shouldn't have to create another one. Thanks

When entering a BAS payment, the bank fees do not allow an allocation of negative number to be entered.
Live a/c's requires a spend/receive money transacton to be entered and then matched to bank transaction.
Wouldn't it be easier and more efficient just to allow negative number to be recorded?
This function is available in the Banklink program via a 'dissect' function.
When entering a spend/receive money transaction, I need to remember the date of the transaction, which bank to 'Pay From' then the actual numbers and accounts. Seems very inefficient and unnecessary when a simple allocation can take place in the bank feed.

When choosing an "individual" customer - you can leave the business name blank, but upon saving the First & Last Name default in teh Business Name Field. The help files advise on the business field is mandatory for business & First/Last name is mandatory for Individuals - so why does it fill in when not neccessary.

MYOB Live Contacts has a Position Description but you can't import into this field.
I've got your screen-shot of "Fields required for Contacts" and there is no field for Position Description.

Hi there,
I'm setting up a client who employs subcontractors that are GST registered but also have withholding tax deducted from their wages payments.
Would it be possible to integrate the GST and Withholding tax calculation for this sort of subcontractor into the payroll module of live accounts instead of having to manually calculate the payment to be made to the subcontractor, then manually having to account for the GST and split the corresponding payment?

Is it possible to have the "to" date in the P&L change automatically to 30/6/13 if the "from" date is changed to 1/7/12?
Maybe a setting which allows the default dates for reports to be set as either the current date or a user nominated date would save time?

I have a suggestion regarding the pay run set up. It used to be that the total for each employee changed as we put the different amounts in, i.e. hourly rates, meal allowance, over time etc. Now the total doesn't change until we press 'next employee' which is ok - but inconvenient. It means we have to go back to each employee if we want to make any changes to their wage and we often do since we pay them commission. We liked it much better before when we could change the numbers and the total would change accordingly. It was much more cost and time efficient. Would you please pass this on, or let us know if there is a setting we can change ourselves. Thanks

We used to be able to edit a cheque number of a reconciled cheque without the transaction returning to the rec. screen.
Several transactions appeared in my Rec. Screen after I used a different cheque number to
identify the month the rental cheque related to. Will this be changed back to the previous situation
in an update, or is it set up like this to prevent changes?

I'd like to see availabilty of a client's statements, for advisors, included in a future upgrade - e.g. a a copy of the electronic bank statement being stored alongside the client's file, or an option for a client to pre-approve their advisor to download statements, in their 'advisor authorisation' screen. Will there be an automatic rounding feature in the future with liveaccounts invoicing. It would be handy if when you went to customer payment if you could check a box for cash and it would automatically round the amount. At the very least invoices need to be able to be amended without deleting payments and at times multiple down payments on the one invoice. ie - a customer has been invoiced $2,323.26 and pays the amount off over a month using a credit/debit card and then their last payment is cash you have to go back, unreconcile the previous payments, delete the payments, amend the invoice to include rounding ANDthen go back entering all the payments for the right dates, reconciling a vast number of eftpos transactions that had to be unreconciled to allow this particular customers payments to be unreconciled etc all over $0.01. Seems ridiculous!!!!!

It will be nice if we can put number in the line of the invoices, quotation or purchase order.
As for example, I'm selling 14 different items, I need to know that I'm selling 14 different items to that specific customers, samething when issuing a purchase order. - All this time it is hard, because there is no option to do so when making/ customising a form.. it is like I have to caunt the lines one by one..

I understand that MYOB now, like Quickbooks, allows users to have a Cash P&L or a Non-Cash P&L.
My suggestion is that it is essential that the P&L on the top right hand cprner notates the type of P&L ie
Cash P&L or Non-Cash P&L
For tax purposes, depreciation is included whether cash or non-cash.
The movement in Receivables is the difference between cash and non-cash.
Personally, I believe there should be no option to have a cash or non-cash P&L.
As a former banker, the most important Financial Statement is the Cash Flow Statement.
I understand that in America the Cash Flow Statement is required for small business.

I would like to be able to change the table inside the invoice template. Our invoices are quite detailed and I would like to widen the "description' column. I can move the columns while I am using the invoice but it reverts back to the standard width when I complete the invoice.

The inclusion of Purchase orders into Invoices is fantastic.
Is it possible to include in a sales report - Sales Transacton Report the Purchase Order number.
Would be very handy as I send a number of invoices against a single Purchase Order number.
Currently I print out each invoice and group together and then subtract the invoiced amount from the PO amount

I enter over 300 orders during the course of a month. Information is added to these orders daily. After each order is entered the main menu appears. I have to click on "Enter Sales" every time between orders, this is a complete waste of time, is taking twice as long to enter information. A blank order appeared automatically after each order entered on the old MYOB.
The same invoice number is being allocated to at least three different customers , and is causing confusion all round.
