Covid-19 Wage Subsidy

Just wanting to know if we have staff that work different hours each week, to work out the 80%, do I add up the hours over say the past two months to get an average per week?

Hi @kirstygodkin 

 

I would recommend speaking with the Employment NZ and/or Work and Income for information on how that 80% is calculated when an employee has varied hours.

 

From an MYOB Essentials Payroll perspective, you can find out how many hours an employee has worked for a period by navigating to the pay history of that employee's record and manually totalling the hours worked for that period. This can then be divided by the desired period to give you the average hours worked for the period.
