Delete and re enter a pay run

Hi, I have had to delete a number of pays and thought that I could then re enter them without filing to the ATO as the totals will be the same once I have re entered the pays - different amounts on different paydays but they will ultimately all add up to the same amount as the pays I deleted. It seems though that I can't re enter a pay without it taking me to the 'file to the ATO' screen. Is this correct? If so how do I do this? Thank you

Hi Jesh, I am trying to delete a pay for an individual employee. When I go into her pay history and select the pay I want to delete I get the following message 'You can delete this transaction only after all the later pay transactions have been deleted in the month of April and the employee is saved'. I deleted all other pays that needed to be deleted without a problem. Thank you

I apologise, I misinterpreted your message.

Some users have found that refreshing their internet browser can in fact resolve that error, thus enablng them to proceed with deleting the payroll transaction. Refreshyourcache.com would be able to assist with that. 

 

If you are still having trouble deleting that payroll transaction following a browser refresh, then can you please private message me your full name, serial number, email address, as well as indicating the following information below, to allow me to investigate further for you:

 

  • Who is the employee you are trying to delete the payroll transaction from?
  • What period is the transaction you are trying to delete?
  • What are the Gross earnings and Hrs worked of the payroll transaction you are trying to delete?
  • What happens when you select the Delete option and then Save the window?
