How to code the Refund amount from Payroll Returns

Hello,

 

We received a refund from IRD for our Payroll Returns from previous periods.

How can I code this amount on MYOB? Which account should I allocate it to? There are no separate amounts for PAYE or Kiwisaver, etc from IRD's notice of refund.

HI @QTL 

 

I’d recommend having a chat with your accountant over which account or accounts to use to record this refund. They will be able to advise you of the appropriate accounts to use when recording this transaction.
