Pay as you go holidays

Hi,

 

How can you setup a pay-as-you-go holiday on MYOB Essentials Payroll?

I saw this page but it's for the desktop version...

Setting+up+holiday+pay+for+casual+employees 

For the moment I add an item :

Name : ANL

for $17.70 rate I put $1.41 per hrs

Then I add this item and I put the same hrs than the worked hrs.

 

Do you you have a better way?

How can I disable the automatic annual leave calculation?

Hi @ChaPatisse 

 

If the employee is a casual employee i.e. they don't accrue annual leave and paid out their holiday pay as they go, you would set their Status to be Casual. This can be done in the Employee details section of that employee's record. Don't forget to select Save after making changes to an employee's record.

 

By marking that employee as a Casual they will not be entitled to i.e. their Leave section will not show Annual leave but Holiday pay where you can add in the desired percentage (generally 8%).
