Setting up STP - business details errors

Hi support,

I am trying to set up STP under Payroll -> Single Touch Payroll reporting.

After I click on "Get Started", I was informed there are errors that need to be fixed before I can continue.

The errors are:

  • Business name is needed.
  • ABN is invalid.
  • Business address is needed.

Upon following the link to check the error fields, it clearly shows that those fields are all entered including a valid ABN.

Why is it showing me this error?

Thanks

Re: Setting up STP - business details errors

Hi @angieya

I would make sure that you have selected to enter in the required data before selecting Refresh to refresh that information.

If you are still encountering that information, we've seen some cases where if the address has a large number of capital letters like the SYDNEY rather than Sydney can cause the system to generate an incorrect check. In terms of the ABN, try entering that value without spaces.

Should you be requiring further assistance with this situation, getting the exact information as a screenshot you are entering would be ideal. This information could be private messaged through to myself if required.

Kind regards,
Steven

Re: Setting up STP - business details errors

Thank you. The suburb was entered in the address field 2 as well as the "Suburb" field. It didn't like that.

It's fixed now.
