final pay

final pay

if I have the hours entered for annual leave entitlement purposes for a permanent employee in MYOB Essentials do I have to have the 8% holiday pay box ticked as well to calculate a final pay.

Hi @jenny4 


To record a final pay for an employee within MYOB Essentials (NZ), you would:

  1. Process their pay as normal.
  2. Within the Pay Run window, select Add Holidays or Leave.
  3. .Choose Final Pay.
  4. Review the details.
  5. Select Save.

Using the above process will pay out any outstanding annual leave and public holidays. It will also include any outstanding Holiday Pay that the employee has accrued.
