"days being paid this period"

Hello

We have a employee that has just gone onto ACC (none work injury) long term - I understand they still accumulate leave over this period. WHat do I put in the days being paid this period?

Thanks

R

Re: "days being paid this period"

Hi @GarethP22

Thank you for your post. Generally speaking you would still need to enter the days being paid as if the employee is still working. For example, if the employee normally works a 5 day week, you would need to put 5 days.

Re: "days being paid this period"

HI!

Just to clarify - when running a payroll we would just add "days worked" but no hours etc from the very first week when the person is on ACC? (e.g like we do with maternity leave)

Regards,

Mari

Hi @Mari2

Thank you for your post. Generally speaking you would add in the days work, however if you are unsure I would recommend checking with ACC NZ in regards to this to ensure that it is reported correctly.
