Error message - Recording Time Billing Invoices

Hi

 

Trying to record a time billing invoice and I get the following error message.

 

The instance of entity type 'ActivitySlipTransactionLine' cannot be tracked because another instance with the same key value for {'RecordID'} is already being tracked. When attaching existing entities, ensure that only one entity instance with a given key value is attached. Consider using 'DbContextOptionsBuilder.EnableSensitiveDataLogging' to see the conflicting key values.

 

How do I overcome this.

Hi @Tracy12 


If you're using the WIP button to add activities to the invoice and then using Print Preview to record the invoice, this error may occur. This is something that our teams are aware of and working on fixing it permanently. 

 

In the meanwhile, use the OK button to record the time billing sale after adding a batch of activities. This ensures the activities are properly removed from the WIP window.

Hi Komal

 

No, I am not using the WIP button (That button seems permanently greyed out for me).

 

I am using the prepare time billing invoice

Selecting my customer

Selecting the hours I want billed and prepare invoice

Then when I go to record that invoice it get the above error message.

Hi @Tracy12 

In that case, can you please send me a screenshot of the impacted invoice by Private Message so we can check if something else in the invoice is triggering the error.
