PYC Paydirect

I have been trying to reconcile payments for the last 2 days without much luck.
I am trying to process over 150 payments which I have just found out can only be done by deleting the CP or MYOB payment from each invoice and then re allocating it in my bank feed by using an email that was sent confirming payment.......it astounds me that the system can’t be set up to “magic match” these payments.
With multiple payments I am unable to match up invoices with emails and the bankfeed.
I have been trying for 2 days to get a Detailed list of payments made via credit card from pay direct, I haven’t even been able to speak to someone about it as the “paydirect” team seem to be not answering or returning calls....very frustrating as I am trying to process my BAS.
My previous account system was linked to a stripe payment system and at any point in time I could log into my stripe account and look up individual payments, how can I get this info with pay direct.

I am having exactly the same problem!  I receive emails for some payments and not others.  My bank feed shows a total amount from PayDirect and now I can't match up the payments in MYOB.  Where can I log into the PayDirect system to get a breakdown???

Hi @JaneM1234 @Mascotte

 

With MYOB Essentials when a payment is made by a customer you will receive an email to indicate that payment has been made. The system will automatically generate the Take payments transaction for that individual payment.

 

In terms of banking, the individual payments will be recorded as unmatched and you'll receive a lump sum deposit through via bank feeds. You would then match the associated bank deposit transaction with that of the individual payments.

 

If you are needing a history of your PayDirect payments, our phone-support team can review the account and look into providing a history. Note: This is on a per request per account basis.

I tried for 45 minutes to get an itemised statement of payments but eventually gave up and hung up.  I don't think the person I spoke to actually understood my request.  It was a very frustrating 45 minutes with no resolution.

Yes I know I get emails but it’s very hard to make up as the emails are sent days before the money actually lands in the bank fees and then the dates don’t match the payments.

You would also think that it would be just that easy to allocate them from the bank feed to the lump sum payment and then to he individual payments but it’s not.
We don’t get information on who’s payment is included in each lump sum (which would be helpful), the invoices also don’t show up in the bank feed to allow easy allocation( because they are marked as “paid” directly from the credit card payment).
You have to delete each payment from each invoice then work out which invoices add up to make each lump sum transfer and then allocte them all at once.
It’s double handling and even triple handling some payments, the system needs to be fixed.

With the PYC Paydirect system, Im not recieving the email informing me of the payment, is there anyway I can check what email address it should be going to.

Hi @Doogie

 

To my understanding, when a customer does make payment on an invoice an email is set to the primary contact on the MYOB Essentials business. This can be checked via selecting your Business Name Menu (top right) and selecting Business Details.

Hi Steven,

 

Thanks for that. I have checked that email and it is the correct one Im looking at and unfortunatly I still cannot find any emails from the Pay Direct system.

 

Is there a log that can be checked to see if the was email was sent?
