Purchases - invoice attachments not showing

Our client recently had their serial number changed when they added Payroll to their existing AccountRight subscription.  All the purchase invoice attachments prior to the change no longer appear.  The icon showing that there is an attachment appears, when the invoice/bill is opened, the attachment is no longer showing.

Can this be rectified?

Hi @JLT57 

 

We do have a tool that we can attempt to run over the company file that will transfer the In Tray documents from one file to the other file. This commonly works but in more serious cases it does require a ticket with our product teams to move those documents on your behalf. It should be noted that it is a one-way process i.e. we take the documents from abc file and put them into xyz file, and it is irreversible.

 

If you are needing that process, I'm happy to arrange for that, I would need to grab the following information in a Forum private message:

  • The original serial number of the file
  • The original company file ID - Help>>About AccountRight when that file is opened
  • The new serial number of the file
  • The new company file ID - Help>>About AccountRight when that file is opened

i am having the same issue - can you assist me?

 

my file was under a different serial number - i got our own account (new serial number) and now i cant see any attachments which were loaded in the previous financial year. the purchase is there - but no attachment

I'll pass this advice onto our client and see what he says.  When we spoke with MYOB about adding the payroll module, at no time during the conversations, was our client told that he would lose access to all his invoice attachments.  In fact MYOB said nothing would change.  We weren't aware of what would happen with serial number changes.

I see you have managed that one and have sent me a message. I have just replied to that for you.

 

You can see the full message by selecting the message subject, typically in bold, from within the Private message window (Avatar/Image (top right when logged in)>>Envelope icon from pull out menu).
