Hello All MYOB Team users,
BE CAREFUL in MYOB TEAMS !
We have discovered that any hours (in an employees timesheet) shown in MYOB Teams portal , where generated by Clockon/off via kiosk and not yet approved by the Approving Manager, are open to fraud & timetheft by employees in the mobile app - as employees have a window to change hours on mobile app before a timesheet is approved by an Approving Manager.
An employee (which is assigned to a Kiosk location for Clockon/Off Via kiosk as Time Capture) has brought this to our attention this week thinking it very funny that he was able to access the Timesheet records area of the mobile app (under the ... More option).
He had clocked in and out that day on the Kiosk and then went into his mobile app and changed the hours that had been recorded and came up bragging about it..."look what I can do!"
We have recreated screenshots on another employee's phone & in the MYOB Teams Portal to show MYOB this can occur, and have presented MYOB with what we believe needs to happen. ie "Employees clocking in/out from kiosk should not be allowed to change hours in the mobile app", which seems like a simple tweak to the mobile app, but no acceptable answer has been provided.
Has anyone else had a similar experience or issue with this?
I would be very appreciative of any valid suggestions, as MYOB Support do not seem to be able to help and will not make tech team available.
As an aside, does anyone (including MYOB support here???) know whether it is possible to prevent an employee to switch between locations in their mobile app

You are so right to be concerned, we discovered the same issue you're experiencing 18 months ago and MYOB is yet to resolve this issue despite also sending them screen shots of how it occurs.
At present our only solution with continuing to use the MYOB teams app is to be mindful of that this situation can occur, not always possible in reality, and to look for an alternative clock on/clock off device.
Sadly MYOB has been incredibly quiet in their response. Now that more people have this issue they may take notice... who knows...
The location issue has not been an issue for us as we only have one location, sorry no solution to that one either.

Argh. this company. MYOB still hasn't fixed the issue with the photos no displaying in the portal. Only God knows where they go after they get taken. MYOB can't seem to even answer that.
Just found out my team can go in to the app and alter the shift times. What's the point in even having this if everyone can just alter their times???

You are kidding right? You want me to post that MYOB should fix known issues that have been outstanding for 2 years??? This pretty much sums up everything wrong with MYOB.
