2018.2 upgrade taking ages or frozen

I have upgraded a number files today, however I have two company files that seem to be frozen, they are taking a long time to upgrade, it's been over hour, main concern one is accountright 2018.2.. Please help

Hi @INTHEHILLS

 

To upgrade a company file in the cloud to a later version i.e. AccountRight 2018.2 to 2018.3, you would open that company file in the new version of the program. The program will prompt you to upgrade the company file to which you would select Upgrade Now, wait a few moments ~5 minutes (could be longer depending on various factors) and open that upgraded file.

 

In some cases, tends to happen more with online files, the process can become stuck and MYOB invention would be required i.e. it is showing as upgrading for a considerable length of time (over 1 hour). For these situations, we do need to run a script over the file.  


So we can arrange for the relevant script to be run over the company file can you confirm the LAST FOUR DIGITS of the serial number of that file and the company name file if known.

As mentioned in our private messages, we have arranged for the script to be run across those company files. This has allowed for those company files to be upgraded to AccountRight 2018.3
