Changes to closed financial year figures and linked accounts

I noticed changes in Retained Earnings, and on review, found that the profit figure from a closed financial year had changed.  Furthermore, linked accounts for tracking payables and the banking historical balancing account had changed without my knowledge.

Would appreciate any guidance on how I can trace how these changes occurred.

Re: Changes to closed financial year figures and linked accounts

Hi @GibsonW

Thanks for your post. Changes to transactions can be traced in the Journal Security Audit report (Reports>>Accounts>>Security and Audit). If you have an idea when the linked accounts were changed you can check the Session Security Audit report to see who was logged on at that time.

You could also check which users have the permissions to make those changes: Manage users
