MYOB AR 2019.1 Server edition local file

When opening MYOB AR 2019 Server local file I am receiving the following error message "the connection to the server has failed please check your network connection and try again later"

 

I am able to open sample clearwater file.  I was also able to create a new file and opent it

Jenny,

I get the same thing. company file is on a local server not in the cloud.

I can get into the clearwater files which don't have a password. which makes me think it seems like a password issue.

Does anyone know how to reset the passwords outside of the company file?

If you are receiving that error and are then prompted to confirm your file, we recommend choosing the option to confirm later. This has allowed some users to get around the issue and gaining access to their files.

Hi @Niall 

 

In terms of resetting the password on a local file, you either need to log in using another user ID that has access to the User Access window inside the file or submit the file to have a password removed. Password removals are a paid service and do require that the file is submitted to our team, meaning that you couldn’t access it while the password is reset and returned to you
