It crashes at home, it crashes at work- does not matter what it is I am doing - it is increasingly unstable & VERY frustrating.
For a product that we continue to pay for, we are losing quality & it is not as good as it used to be. Considering some other programs to move all of my customers accross to. I can no longer waste my time restarting, signing in each time... Not good enough MYOB, pull your socks up. You have very strong competition out there, & these constant new patch releases are doing nothing to help the problem.
I agree, extremely frustrating. I'm working in an office, crashes during simple tasks like checking inventory and then also in payroll and not once multiple times....oh and don't start me on reports!

Same with me as well! Mine crashed at least four times in one day and I'm over it. I would switch them over to Xero but it's too time-consuming but I am really annoyed that I"m in the middle of something and it crashes so I had to log in blah blah then find out what I'm doing it's time consuming and a waste of time
Sorry to hear that you have encountered errors with AccountRight 2020.
Generally speaking, there are three key points that would be looking with crashes:
Ideally, with crashes, you want to eliminate various factors so you can narrow down root causes. My recommendation would be to first test the Clearwater/sample company file to see if you encounter similar situations. This gives us a good indication of whether the issue is file specific or application-wide. If it is application-wide, a reinstall of the software would be your first port of call. If you are still encountering that situation after a reinstall of the software, you would be looking at the environment and trying to eliminate factors i.e. is the file in the cloud? Does the same thing occur when the file is stored locally? Does the same thing occur on other computers? Do you get the same situations if other applications are disabled such as antivirus, firewall, automated backup programs and other applications?... These types of things help us eliminate different factors to work through come up with solutions for those crashes.
On a development point of view, work is being done on increasing the stability of the application with each update along with adding for the workflow and performance enhancements with each update. For example, with the release of AccountRight 2020.1 we prevented certain reports to crash when attempting to be run.

Just found out that the quotes I was emailing last night got emailed without any attachments.
This is because of the stupid out of memory errors occurring in the background.
Wasting so much time each day with ALL the crashes.
Come on MYOB you need to fix these errors.
Totally agree, it is really is not acceptable.
Our time and mental health is far more important
So basically you want us to use our time to test & iron out all of the bugs on your "beta" program. I am using Myob on 3 different work stations (my clients & my own), nothing has changed in those environments except for having to download a new version of MYOB every couple of weeks for the last few months & the program has become more unstable increasingly so, recently.
The error about low memory is one I am sure you have heard of... MANY times in this forum. Fix it. It is not our job to test & run your program (on our dollar) and report the issue back you to. I am sorry, I am not usually so blunt & I have never come on a forum before to vent before, but I have also never had MYOB crash on me so often either...
Managed to receive approve bank feed transactions from yesterday and enter 15 customer payments before getting my first crash of the day.

Made it to 8.01am
Have managed to enter another 30 customer payments and two purchase orders and MYOB just froze and closed on me. Not a good start to a Thursday morning.
