I have been trying to download the new Accountright and keep getting the message MYOB Add-On Connector as shown in the photo.

Depending on the environment in which you are trying to install MYOB Add on Connector, there can be number of reasons for this specific error message.

 

In most of the cases, it is due to the fact that the installer you are using to install/uninstall the affected program is damaged or corrupted. Downloading a different copy of installer or downloading it to a different location on your computer could resolve this.  However, if you keep on getting this error message, I would recommend speaking to an IT professional as in some instances, it may require modifying specific registry keys which we cannot assist with.

 

Having said this, if you do not use add on connectors, then you can simply install AccountRight and skip API installation.
