PREMIER V19.15

Is it correct that MYOB will no longer support Premier V19.15.

 

I do not wish to change to AccountRight, I understand that Premier V19.15 will not support STP, but will there be no support or tax file upgrades etc. as well??

 

I am getting closer and closer to changing to another accounting programme, as the only way to receive support and help is through this forum, as wait times on the phone are excessive, and for this we pay very high annual subscriptions.

Hi @cramptons 

 

We have announced the end of support of AccountRight Classic, as of 30 September 2019. This means that we will no longer be providing releases for the AccountRight Classic range. This will include compliance releases and bug fixes.

 

If you do have an active support agreement, then you can upgrade to AccountRight 201X for STP compliance. The AccountRight 201X range can store the file locally or online. Note that certain services like the In Tray, Online invoices and payments and online emailing will not be available on files stored locally

@cramptons- out of curiosity, is there another accounting software provider that still gives you full desktop capabilities like myob classic and includes a STP service?

 

would be good to have that knowledge available.

Yes but they are third party providers. You can stop paying your MYOB subscription and still be better off by using these as the Classic versions are very robust and I have needed support for these in 20+ years. Backups are essential though. Please feel free to private message me for more info.

Pretty sure Qucikbooks does desktop with STP.

Hi Renae,

I have heard so many bad reports of problems with the MYOB cloud versions, you only have to read this forum to see the problems??
