How to run report in foreign currency

Hi

I can see that in MYOB now you can record Sales/Purchase and bank receipt and payment transaction in Foreign currency and system will auto convert it to AUD based on the rate you set.

However, when I tried to run transaction report (e.g. General ledger transaction or Sales Activity Report etc), it will be only based on AUD, is it anyway I can run a transaction report or any other report in the currency recorded?

Or if it is possible now, will this be a function to be developed at the moment?

Thanks

Charlie

Re: How to run report in foreign currency

Hi @charlieWanguo

Currently all of the reporting in AccountRight is based on the local currency. So if you did record a transaction in a foreign currency, that is converted into the local currency. This is what’s used when reporting at the current time.

Taking a look at our help article, Working with multiple currencies (Beta), this article contains a section on what can and can’t be done at this point in time. Under the can’t do yet column there is mention of reports

Regards,
Neil
