Your GST return has been rejected by Inland Revenue

I am trying to lodge a GST return online with IRD and I am getting the following message:

"Your GST return has been rejected by Inland Revenue"

I have never had problems in the past and have lodged two other returns today with other companies and with the AccountRight Live upgrade. Any suggestions to rectify?

Re: Your GST return has been rejected by Inland Revenue

Hi @XXX

If you are experiencing an error lodging your GST Return, I would recommend trying again at a later stage. Occasionally, the IRD has lodgement issues which may prevent GST Returns being submitted, so trying again at a later stage typically gets around those.

If you are still getting that message, I would be clearing your browser's cache. Upon retrying if you do get a certification prompt do select Cancel before attempting that process again.

Kind regards,
Steven

Hi @XXX

Did you get this sorted? WE had that too last week - and tried again the next day and it worked fine.

Re: Your GST return has been rejected by Inland Revenue

Hi - I'm also having that problem and I think the IRD have moved the login link to a different page. I note that several other people are also posting this problem.
