Alternative Holiday Payroll paying during final pay

Final payed employee today but the lieu day for a public holiday worked in the current pay period was NOT on the final pay screen to caculate/pay?

Tried to pay Alt Holiday before Final but that created a "must be 0 or greater" error!

 

The public holiday worked hours loaded should trigger the Alt Days calculation on the final pay screen?

When doing a final pay in New Zealand Payroll, the system will pull through key values on the Leave Details screen of the employee. This information is not unable to be changed as it is intended to be what is owed to the employee and should be paid in that final pay.

 

If you are needing to pay an alternative holiday to the employee in that final pay you would not be able to enter that directly as when select Final Pay it will pull the information from the Leave Details to make payment thus making that field unchangeable. A workaround would be to either pay the employee the Alternative Holiday separately OR enter the required number of days in the Leave Details - Other leave -Current Alternative Holidays Due for the employee before doing that final pay.  This way when you select Final Pay it will pull those entered hours so they can paid to the employee.
