I have a client who has moved to half monthly PAYE filing, using NZ Payroll.
They are trying they are trying to create the IR345 to upload to the IRD. See the screenshot below, then they select <Next> and print the IR345, but the CSV file does not get created. There is no error message either.
It is not an access to the filepath problem, because they can create a file for the IR348 with no problems.
Can anyone help?

You mentioned that the company moved to half-monthly, when was this updated in MYOB Payroll? If you have run your first pay then updated this fixes the PAYE reporting that month to be Monthly. It is not until a new month that you would be reporting on a half-monthly basis.
If you are required to report half-monthly for that particular month, you would be looking at restoring a backup prior to finalising the first pay in the month, updating the PAYE option and then re-eenter the pay(s) for that month.
MYOB Payroll was updated to half monthly, after May had been rolled over, but before the first pay for June was run.
So we can investigate further can you provide the Maintenance Audit report for the last week of May and the first week of June. You can access the Maintenance Audit reports via Reports>>Maintenance Audit. For security purposes, you can untick the Employee option from the Include the following changes options.
The report will need to be printed to PDF or printed and then scanned into a PDF to upload it to the Forum.
Thanks Steve. Once again, the audit reports do not lie and in fact the client had finalised the pay before changing the PAYE period. All sorted now.
